Hi there! I’m Ben Levin. I’m passionate about public service and interested in education policy and reform; in the future, I hope to attend law school to bring equity to the education sector. However, in the meantime, I hope to pursue a policy or legal internship to gain exposure to various aspects of the fields of politics, education, and law.
I also love working with kids. I’m a long-time camp counselor at Ramah Day Camp in Nyack, and the highlight of my year is engaging with and mentoring my eight-year-old campers. At Wesleyan, my goal is to participate in the course Pedagogy for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, which will allow me to learn more about hands-on education in an academic environment while simultaneously gaining exposure to the practice of TESOL.
On campus, I’m a member of the Wesleyan Mock Trial team, which has allowed me to explore my passions for the adversarial trial process. I’m also on the Club Tennis team and a part of the Mazel Tones a capella group.
