Beth Hepford Promoted to Associate Professor of the Practice in TESOL

Congratulations to Beth Hepford, a core faculty member in the College of Education Studies on her recent promotion!

Elizabeth Hepford, Associate Professor of the Practice in TESOL

Professor Hepford teaches undergraduate and graduate students and collaborates with various University colleagues in developing programs and initiatives to support multilingual writers and international students, as well as faculty who work with those students. Her scholarship in forensic linguistics informs her courses in language policy and was recently recognized with the Best Research Article award from the American Association of Applied Linguistics. She offers courses such as Writing in Multiple Languages, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Academic Writing in the US for International Students, and Writing about Research: US Style.
